Scarecrow Decorating Contest
The aim of this contest is to provide an opportunity for the community to be creative!
Each participant was given a 6’ bamboo pole and a large burlap bag. VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE!
Gracias A La Vida
“Gracias a La Vida” is a multilingual mural project, created to honor a Highland Park resident and long-term Unity Bank client, José de la Luz Pérez Moreno, who died in 2020.
Karsey Street Park
After assembling and priming four wooden Adirondack chairs, the young artists of the Guerilla Art Club set decorated them with inviting artistry. The finished art has now been installed in Karsey Street Park with an open invitation to the community to enjoy them.
Yarn Art @ Albany Street Bridge
A beautiful collaboration between Highland Park & New Brunswick students. This yarn art project’s goal was to “build bridges” and spread love by making passersby smile by weaving artwork into the fencing along the Albany Street bridge.
